This is my last post... for awhile

I probably won't be around for a while - my house burned down this past Tuesday night. It's 100% loss.

No one was hurt but it's ALL gone. (At my work pc now)
Yes, I'm at work. Nothing else to do at this point. The house is being torn down Monday and the rebuild process will begin in February.

(this time I want a jacuzzi tub)

This happened to a friend of mine a few years back - complete loss of home and belongings. He was taking full-time classes then.

It took a few months to get everything fixed up and for the insurance to complete all the transactions, but they wound up in a home that was much better than the original and with all new appliances, clothes, etc.

    Hang in there.

Somethings can't though. This happened to a family friend a few years ago, and while he ended up with a better, nicer house, he said he'd trade it any day for his old house (had been in the family forever), as well as pictures lost, personal items with sentimental value, etc.

sorry to hear about that. Lost of personal and sentimental items does suck much more tand the house, but in the end all that is important is that no lives were lost in the ordeal
