    TV tuner card question

    K i got a FM tuner card. It works but the only thing is when i turn it offi can still hear static in my speakers . I have to turn my speakers down cause it drives me crazy . Maybe a cheap card ? or do they all do this ?

    With my old TV/FM card, I would just mute the AUX audio part after I turned it off.... "MUTE the audio"

    Same here. I have two pc with two different TV cards (neither have the fm though). I have to mute the "line in" on both cards.

    One is a Pinnacle and the other is the Hauppauge.

    tried that. I even noticed that when i have the music turned on and hit the mute i can still faintly hear the music .

    I just re-read that . Ok turn off windows AUX volume, i will try that. I was taking about the mute in the programs control panel.
