USB 2.0 strange problem
Hi!
I just bought HP compaq nx7010 for my FinalScratch and for producing music //I'm a DJ//.
I have already loaded Windows xp with service pack 1 on my laptop.
When I connect FinalScratch on my USB it doesn't do nothing!
Then I tryed to connect an USB mouse on laptop - logitech optical mouse with red light (I'm sure you know which one), but it doesn't work neither the red light isn't shining..
Then I looked the device manager and there seems to be everything allright! all usb root hubs & usb universal host controllers are working ok - that's what it says under the device status..
I've downloaded the latest drivers from HP web, but it doesn't help..
PLEASEE HELP!!!
thanks,
Urban

This could be a stupid question, but have you installed the drivers for those devices before plugging them into the USB ports?

I didn't think USB optical mice would need a driver???
rayden, did you try all your USB ports or just one?

all of them, but nothing..
I think that there's a problem inside the laptop..
I'll probably take it to the servis.
