Personally, I don't think we should waste the resources and $$ on a trial, jail, appeals, and eventually execution. They should have tried, sentenced and convicted him as he walked out of the woods that morning......the officer who found him should have put one between his eyes and been done with it!!

Well I can tell everyone that it was a gun that stopped the bastage that was stalking and planning to kill my wife and son. And guess what? It was my wife who put 6 in his freakin' sorry arse. A cousin, who know's how to use a rifle, saved his 2 year old niece from being killed by two deranged drug dealers after a botched drug deal in WV 3 years ago (unfortunately the scum put a bullet in the mothers head before he could get over to the house-executed her right in front of the girl and she was next).

McDowell County WV, Skygusty April 9, 2001. The men had already killed my cousin's husband and then executed her (there were actually 4 guys involved in the crime). She told her 2 year old daughter to run real fast to her uncle's house next door. The guys shot my cousin and then headed out the door after the little girl. My cousin (the girl's uncle) heard the shooting and was heading that way. He had his rifle, other neighbors heard the shooting and came that way too. They were able to keep the perps pinned down until the cops showed up. It had nationwide coverage I'm surprised you didn't hear of it. The one guy was only 16 at the time was convicted of 2 counts of 2nd degree murder, another was convicted of 2 counts of 1st degree murder-he was the actual shooter, the 3rd pleaded to burglary and the 4th was acquitted.
