    One thing, arent there cheaper .com regs out there? Isnt 9.95 a bit more than usual?

    And these .info domains, can they ever be used on those free host sites?

    Yes, they actually can.

    I have a few free sites from 1&1 Internet.

    All I have to do is add them to my account, and add the 1&1 name servers as authoritive for the domains.

    1&1 have free hosting? Theyre from teh UK right? They wont let anyone sign up if they dont live in teh UK.

    They had free a free hosting offer for a free Pre USA launch about a year ago, yes they originally started up in the UK.
