Sound Blaster Live 5.1! Help!
So I just reformatted my computer, cuz my cable modem wasnt working, Im guessing the registry was all messed up.
But anyway, Ive had no problems reinstalling my hardware till now.
The soundblaster is coming up at Multimedia Audio Controller, so im thinkin oh, ok.
So I download the drivers for soundblaster, and try to install them, and my computer decides that I dont have a soundblaster card plugged in.
I unplugged it and then plugged it back in and it still just shows up as a Multimedia Audio Controller, what am I supposed to do?
(I lost my SB driver cd too btw)

Welcome to windrivers thief. Losing that CD may prove costly. Creative made many oem versions of that card and they do not provide driver support for any of them. They support only the retail cards. Was the SB card purchased from a store, or was it included w/ the computer? If the latter, please provide the make and model of the computer. Also, what version of windows?
Look on the SB card for a code CT#### or SB####
