    Question Faxing Solution needed ~ Recommendations Please

    Greetings all,
    I am in need of a faxing solution. Faxes need to be sent and received from the PC's. Recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    What do you have in mind? Fax service is built in to xp, w2k, me, 98 - all you need is a modem.

    You might try Googling for "fax software". Lots of good links come up.

    Also, most modems come with fax software that is included with the drivers. Do you have a modem or do you connect via a network?

    It is for a multiple user network and they want to be able to have multiple users fax from their machines without having to purchase and install analog lines and numbers for each machine.

    In order for you to recieve faxes from external fax machines you would have to set up serveral analog lines to your exchange server, but this program worked great for the last company I use to work for.

    Or if the company you're working for is using T1s for their phone system you could set some of the numbers to be fax lines and have them roll over to the exchange server.

    Sometimes the light’s all shinin’ on me;
    Other times I can barely see.
    Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it’s been.

    Another option would be to purchase a fax machine (or printer/fax/scanner) which can be networked. We have a very nice Canon ImageRunner.
