    Cool Damn it's cold out!!

I mean, it's down in the high 30's tonight. AND, it didn't even reach the 70's during the day today. I just may have to think about moving south.

    18??
I don't think it's ever gone below freezing down here, but times like now, they have to actually bring in the helicopters to sit over the palm and tropical plant nurseries for the night so they don't freeze.
I know about cold though. I was in N Dakota in the Air Force. Now that bit the big one!!! I got there in August and the parka they issued I put on right away.
Anyway, if you live down here for awhile, your blood gets thin real quick.

Didn't you once live in Houston?
If so, didn't it take awhile to get used to it? Nah, bull...: didn't it take a long time just to tolerate it like you do?
Come on. Don't you miss the warmth of the South?

Of course. It's summertime Down Under.
Do you all get the "winter" residents like Florida does? We call them "snowbirds". The population actually doubles down here in the US wintertime.

You don't even want to know what it is like here.

What a long day. Worked,.. gave toys to homeless familes and watched Motley tear it up at the Spike TV Video Game Awards. But now it's a cool 51°F, mostly cloudy and I'm tired. And with a UV index of 0 low and a 48°F dew point with 89% humidity, I'm ready to hit the hay. It shouldn't be a problem crashing out for the night with 10.0 meters visibility and 30.35" and falling of pressure and winds from the west breezing at 5.2kts though.

Well, after about 10 days of subzero temperatures, it is about +5F, with about 1 more inch of new snow. Basically very nice conditions for outdoor winter sports. For us, this is easy

I've already been scraping ice of the car recently. It's bloody freezing but I wouldn't want it any other way at Christmas.

90 degrees in January would be fine though

Houston is below freezing this morning, I definitly got to move. I hate the cold so freaking much.

Hey Trip, so when you were stationed in Minot, was it your last stop for the Air Force? Never heard of anyone staying in after being stationed there. My dad got put there first and got out as fast as he could.
