    windows 98 - hangs when not in use after 5 minuites

    Hi

    I have compaq Armadada M700 Laptop. It has windows 98. If I leave the laptop unattended for 5 minuites . It hangs. Can you please help it is urgent. I have to turn off the laptop by turning it off. when I start agian, it does not start normally

    PLEASE HELPPPP

    Is it possible that the laptop is going into Standby?

    You might want to check out Compaq Power Management It has different versions and fixes.
