    Welcome to the forums justme_

Drivers are all available for that Sound Card here:
    http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...2+Audio+Driver

Do you have a branded machine, or is it an assembled one?

    Tried a re-format ?

    Drivers here: http://www.giga-byte.com/Motherboard..._GA-8SMMLP.htm
Note, it shows sis 7012 and realtek audio. You will need to determine which you have. Download Everest http://www.lavalys.com/products/down...ng=en&pageid=3 and go to Motherboard\Chipset\South Bridge and check the codec name for the ac'97 controller.
Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.

In Everest, after you select Motherboard\Chipset, look at narrow window across upper right. Select south bridge from there and info in lower pane will change.

I have nothing that says south bridge,
in the top small window it says north bridge and nothing else no choices for south bridge anywhere on the page.

    This is all it says
    Device Description
    North Bridge: SiS 651
