    Running Linux From A Memory Stick

    Can Linux Be Installed On A Memory Stick And Then Used On A Pc Booted With Windows......if So Can You Then Install Software Onto The Memory Stick Without It Loading Any Files Ie: Registry Files Onto The Pc?

    There are several that run off flash memory. If you want to run the linux off the flash memory while you are in Windows you would probably need some kind of virtual machine software like QEMU. Metropipe has packed this type of thing all up already configured for DSL. You could install this and look at the batch files to see what commands are passed to QEMU since QEMU has no gui to launch it.

    Generally people that run it on flash memory boot off the flash memory stick and run it natively.
