NBTSTAT with Windows XP
I have been using nbtstat -A[ip address] for some time in order to identify who is logged on at a specific workstation, but it seems that when the user is running XP (sp2) rather than W2K the username information isn't cached.
Even running nbtstat -n locally, I only get four records:
[Machine Name] (00) UNIQUE
[Domain Name] (00) GROUP
[Machine Name] (20) UNIQUE
[Domain Name] (1E) GROUP
(I can get a (03) Machine Name when I start the Messaging service - but still no username)
I know there are other ways of getting the username, but I'd like to know if this is the correct behaviour for XP or indeed if anyone else is experiencing it.

Thanks, CeeBee. I was starting to think I was alone with this. Can't find any reference to it when I try Googling.
