    Cool windows welcome/login screen

    hi there every body

    every time i walk a way from my computer my windows xp login screen comes up after about one minute. i would like to know how to extend this time limit.

    Is it brought on by perhaps your screensaver options?

    tried that

    have tried that turned it off completely but it stil comes on about a minute after i have stopped using the comp

    Has this always happenned? Maybe you installed some small app that has this feature on by default?

    yeh thought about that as well and have wound back the clock as in used system restore that didnt help
    very frustrating as when i am watching a movie it will time out and the login/welcome screen comes on

    I went thru TweakUI Archer, nothing of that sort there.

    Even set to always on, the monitor may be set to turn off.

    Also, check the "Prompt for password when computer returns from standby" on the advanced tab.
