    Can't change my current homepage

I can not change my current homepage when I go to internet options in control panel or when I go to internet explorer. I try to click on use current use blank and use default and it want let me. It is like it is locked up. I tried Aol 9.0 optimized auto fix. I tried different spyware like spybot adaware stinger and pcbugdoctor. I tried deleting internet explorer and reinstalling it by going to add/remove programs then remove window componets. None of these fixed my problem. I was told to get ride of the programs involves editing the windows registry and running the microsoft configuration utility. I don't know how to use the regedit.exe and do you know how and will that fix the problem i am having with changing my current homepage. It is stuck on
/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&pver=6&ar=msnhome thats what it says when i open up internet options Can you tell me step by step how to fix this problem by using regedit. Tell me everything I need to know to fix it cause I never used it before.

I know this is probably not what you wanted to hear but the quickest and easiest solution would be to install and use FireFox (********firefox.com). I don't belive you'd have to worry about the homepage of IE anymore.

Specifically about your problem. Have you tried HijackThis? (http://www.spychecker.com/program/hijackthis.html)
Post the log that Hijackthis creates and we may be able to find the culprit. I would suggest trying FireFox tho.

Jon this is the fourth time you have posted this same question. I'm not sure what more the people here can offer you. I still think your problem is AOL and spyware. I'm not trying to sound mean, but it appears you are in over your head. I think you need to take your computer to a local technician so that they can work on it directly.

    Maybe he's ADD
I hope that someday we will be able to put away our fears and prejudices and just laugh at people.
