Halo 2 for the next generation Xbox
The Voodoo Extreme site is reporting that the Bungie team may work on a project to port Halo 2 to the next generation Xbox, adding in additional content and improving overall gameplay and picture quality.
From the news, Bungie may be sinking some of that quarter of a billion dollar profits that Halo 2 made into a Xbox 2 port project.
Team Xbox has been quoted, "Halo 2.5 will be an Xbox 2 launch title and is going to run in HDTV resolution with new, improved textures and graphical effects. All the stuff that people expected from Halo 2 but didn't make the cut will be there."
It does appear that there will be HDTV resolution support that the game will run at. While the Xbox graphics have been behind the latest PC physics such as Half-Life 2, this is definately a step in a new direction.

I'm already bored with Halo 2 as it is (Half Life 2 is where it's at),.. by the time I get me a next gen xbox, this game will be long outdated.

How is it? I played through the first and was rather excited about a sequel, sadly though I've read the single player is far too short to act as a reason to buy, I lack dsl in my part of the artic, making the campaign the only reason why I would slowly and painfully extract the 50.
Was the single player worth it?
