Virus Protection?
I currently do not have any virus protection on my computer, which as you can probably guess, is not a good thing. I was just wondering if anyone knew of some good anti virus software that i can download for free. I'd appreciate any help

My personal preference is Norton AV. I have not heard anything bad about AVG, though.

I only mentioned free ones, personally I use NAV2K5 on all my machines.

AVG and Zone Alarm (at the bare minimum) and NOW!
If you've been on the net (obviously) get ADAware and Spybot as well, and do a complete test of your pc with all of these.

Ditto.
This is what I set up on home machines for customers, when they ask for good, free software.

NOD32 is great but not free. I would get it, but stuck with NAV. And use Spyware Blaster to prevent malware beforehand.

I've been using etrust (computer associates) ez antivirus for the past year and have been quite happy with it. Updates automatically, very low resources. Had been a NAV user and ditched it. They also have a bundled package called ez armor which includes zonealarm (rebadged). There is a promo available where you can get ez armor free for 12 months: http://store.ca.com/dr/v2/ec_main.en...715&CID=179825
