Calling all Londoners
Can anyone get me a menu from Lee Ho Fooks ? As in the Warren Zevon song? I understand that the restaurant is still there in SoHo.
"I saw a werewolf with a Chinese menu in his hand
Walking through the streets of Soho in the rain
He was looking for a place called Lee Ho Fook's
Going to get himself a big dish of beef chow mein
Werewolves of London"
How about it?

I do get down that way from time to time but don't plan to this side of Christmas, however.... Next time I'm in the vicinity I'll pop in & try for you.
Meanwhile check here: http://www.viewlondon.co.uk/info_restaurant_3392.html
I guess this is the place.

Now where did I leave my Lump Hammer?

I'm in town tomorrow but over the other side, (Blackfriars). If I finish early I might take a wander over there, after all, it's close to Soho and I need to get the wife something

your hand or head stuck in something

Soho Square was originally a place called Kemps Field, upon which Richard Frith built King's Square around 1677 (the gardens in the centre were laid out in 1681). By the early 18th century everyone called it Soho Square due to Charles I's bastard son the Duke of Monmouth - who lived in King's Square - had a habit of bellowing "So-Ho" when hunting or going into battle.

while you are at it can someone in London get me something to match the Procol Harum song 'Souvenir of London'?
I got a souvenir in London
Have to hide it from my Mom.
Can't declare it at the Customs
But I have to take it home.
Try to keep it confidential
But the truth is leaking out.
Got a souvenir in London
There's a lot of it about.

Yes, I found a bit of London
I'd like to lose it quick
Got to show it to my doctor
'Cause it isn't going to shrink
Want to keep it confidential
