    # 2 & # 3 can ping each other but not # 1.

I’m hoping the experts can help me with this.

    \\PC-Win2000-number-1 - 192.168.1.101 (samedomain.com ) << work laptop

    \\PC-Win2000-number-2 - 192.168.1.102 (samedomain.com ) << work laptop

    \\PC-XPsp2-3-number-3 - 192.168.1.100 (no domain)

    >> #1 and #2 have the exact same software as it was loaded from the same ghost image at work.

    A few days ago..
Everyone could ping everyone by name and by computerName.

    Very Recently…
    # 2 & # 3 can ping each other but not # 1.
    # 1 can ping # 2 and # 3

    I’ve released and acquired new IP’s .

This happened once before and I had to reinstall the laptop OS. That’s drastic. I really like to know what changed recently.

    Help would be appreciated.

ping IP -t <-- to the computer that cannot be pinged.

Reboot that PC, see if you get any replies.. If you do, you have a firewall installed.

otherwise, i would suspect a stack issue.. sfc /scannow
