Yes, it's really Lucky Star motherboard, very popular in Russia (as well as here in Ukraine) for their good quality/perfomance/price rating. I used to have exactly the same motherboards at home with 1Mb(!)and 512K amount of cashe memory.
Most of those motherboards were made in Russia (in Zelenograd sity),not in Taiwan.
I have sold them a lot with zero(!) returns!
These motherboards are also having good enough support on their Russian site www.lucky-star.ru .
There is also their taiwanese site www.lucky-star.com.tw .
There are few different revisions of that motherboard - 4th is one of the latest (three DIMMs, no SIMMs slots).
I have downloaded manual for that particular revision (PDF file, about 1,1Mb)- let me know, if You have any troubles with downloading that manual.
Good luck!

Ruslan, if you read this I can't find a manuel in english, do you have a link?, also I have flashed bios to the latest version, but it sees the hard drives I have tried as UDMA 33, I am using an 80 wire data belt, do these boards not support ATA 66??

MVP3 chipset really does not supports UDMA66, only UDMA33... I have downloaded that manual in my collection and have sent that file to You- check Your e-mail. By the way, almost all (if not all) the manuals, placed on Russian site - in English.

Welcome to Windrivers Forums,Eastpak1984!
Actually all depends on what PCB revision is your motherboard... There were at least 4 different revisions, and BIOS updates were bit different for each of them...
By the way, what problem you're trying to solve by BIOS update?

You'll need BIOS dated by year 2000/08 or newer... I just found this on Inet:
http://web.tiscali.it/acorp/?http://...p3_gemini.htm?
Look like it is rev.1 but this site has also BIOSes for another revisions (no direct link)...
Be careful - BIOS update is always risky!
In case if that latest BIOS update will not help, you can try BIOS Patcher I mentioned in my post here:

Okay, it worked. I installed BIOS v9.1, and now my 40GB-HDD works.
I've got Rev. 4+
