Resolved [RESOLVED] unidentified ISA nic E-94426650 - seeking win3.1 driver

I have an old NIC and the only identification I can make out as yet is a number: E-94426650 - the card was manufacured in Taiwan. I am hoping to try to install it on a machine running win3.1 - does win3.1 have generic drivers that would normally do the trick on its installation disks or if not where would I get/download a generic driver for an ISA NIC for win3.1 please? If the number on the card means anything to anyone, I would be pleased for information. Thanks.

If I remember correctly, If you set the driver to use the NE-2000 ISA driver it should work fine.

By the way is there jumpers on the card?
If there is, then you just have to make sure that there is no conflict with any other devices in your system.

I do believe that the NE2000 driver is on the win 3.11 disks.

    hope this helps.
    hey its me again!
