not reconizing dvd drive
hi i have acer extensa 2350 laptop after installing sims my dvd drive is not there anymore, have tried system restore no luck, drive will not even open help would be grateful thanks

Where is your DVD drive 'not there' ? Do you mean just in 'my computer' or is it also absent from 'device manager' ?
& I pressume this is an internal DVD drive & there's no little eject hole ? & as your drive is 'not there' that you have no 'eject' option as you can't right click anything ? (Laptops don't always have these btw)
