Sec Master Drive - ATAPI Incompatible
I am running a computer with an MSI motherboard and American Megatrends BIOS. I am using Windows XP Home as the operating system.
I recently had 2 CD Rom drives in that computer and I needed one so I unplugged the drive and removed it from the computer. Now when I startup my system I get 2 beeps upon loading and the error message "Sec Master Drive - ATAPI Incompatible" appears and says press F1 to continue. Have I messed something up by removing this one CD Rom?? I don't remember having this kind of problem when I installed it a few years ago. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you did... You should have disabled that drive in BIOS setting as that drive is still mentioned in BIOS... BIOS is trying to find it on boot and cannot - that's why you have that error message appeared...
