Disable SafeMode .. Win98
We need a way to effectively disable safemode so that when a machine is turned off, it won't reboot to it. tired of getting "computer in safe mode" workorders.

I could be wrong here but I don't think this is can be done. Isn't that a primary routine?

Easy. Upgrade to W2K or XP.
Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.

Have you tried TWEAKUI for Win98? I think it has a disable safe mode.

Just add a line to your existing autoexec.bat. Make sure that it is the last line of your autoexec.bat, and that it reads:
win /3
The /3 switch is a legacy holdover from the days of yore (DOS and Windows 3.1) that forces Windows into Enhanced Mode.
This should do the trick.
