Question USB massive storage device problem

    Hi everybody!

I plugged a 64 Mb pen drive in my XP machine, the system recognices it, and it sais that the USB device is ready for use......¡¡but the system doesn't assigns a unit letter to it!!!, so it becomes unreachable.

    Any idea?

    Thanks.

Go into drive manager via admin tools and post what it says about the state of the drive.

    Hi Archer:

I went to drive manager and the usb drive was there, using the same letter of a mapped unit; I changed the drive assignation to the device and ¡presto! the problem is gone.

    Thanks.
