    W32/gaobot.daq.worm Help!!!

    W32/GAOBOT.DAQ.WORM HELP!!! I have 3 Win98 SE's and 1 Windows XP SP1 machine with this virus. I have run the removal tool from Panda and Symantec but it won't get rid of it. I have done it in both safe mode and normal mode and nothing works. Panda Platinum 2005 picks it up and disinfects or deletes it but it keeps coming back. It makes a stone.exe file and creates a share folder or attaches itself to a share folder on the network. It drives all the printers crazy they start to print almost immediately upon startup. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? Any suggections on other software to use???

    Go straight to Aunty NooNoo's antivirus / spyware removal guide located here. Follow the instructions to the letter and you will not only remove your problem but you'll understand how to stop it all a lot better for future reference.

    I had a problem recently and ran all the instructions from safe mode, worked a treat.
