    What does the future hold?

    Yesterday comes into clear focus:

    "Richard1
    Hello All,
I would like to thank TripleRLtd for offering to volunteer his time as a mod . He willl make a great addition to our current team. Thanks to everyone for using Windrivers Forums and making this place the webs number one stop for your tech needs."

Ouch. I was the post the cat sharpened it's nails on.

No nails here Ice. Unless of course they are required.
btw, the future bodes well for WD, no matter what many of you members decide to do. You realize that, right? WD has survived every mass exodus, and will continue to do so. Plus, if I have anything to do with it, those sorts of "events" will no longer happen after this most recent one.
    btw: thanks for the welcome.

You were mostly responsible for the exiting of everyone here. How many invites to the other site did you send out? We all know the answer.

Oh, yeah congratulations. You got what you wanted.

Why thanks for the gratz mobey. What I wanted? Nah, what I was asked to do, and felt, for the good of WD, I would do. Not for you either or any of the other lizards, but for the mostly nameless members who come here everyday looking for tech support. Remember them?
As far as the rest of what you had to post, 23 members if I recall, and it's been covered already in other threads, and in this one here where you call confus-ed slimey instead of a limey. (Is there anyone here or there that you don't have issues with, btw?)

So, take it easy on the taunts, and/or pm me.

I'm fragile. I love to do it to chickens but I don't like it when people tell me it's wrong.

Congrats Trip, how will you find the time to balance a household full of kids, a fulltime job and moderating this "lively" place?

It's a canny move, I think Richard1 deserves a bit more credit than he's been getting lately. He certainly knows how to keep the boards active

And hell froze over. On the other hand, I do like being right. I was absolutely positive Richard1 would screw something up.

See, that is exactly why you being a mod is a dangerous thing. Tekboy called Confus-ed limey, not me. I asked whether it was a typo. I looked it up on dictionary.com and didn't see why he would call him that, so I asked. It was clarified. No intervention of a mod was necessary.

    Your words:
(Is there anyone here or there that you don't have issues with, btw?)

Coming from you that is really funny. You have had issues with almost every regular here. And you honestly can say you can do the job of mod without any prejudice whatsoever?

"I am not prejudice, you are all pukes, the lowest form of life, you are nothing but unorganized grabastic pieces of dog$h!+!”

My point is, Trip has argued with us ALL, and I think that makes him a fair moderator.

Yessir, we're under new managagment now, and everybody got a clean slate. Trip chose to kiss butt on his fresh start, and it worked out well for him.

I'd say if you asked and volunteered for something, it is safe to say you wanted it.
