The Explanation
Well, this one is kinda tricky. People have apologised but half the people don't know what went on or why... and I don't believe we will satisfactorily get to the motivations of some members.
I guess I could liken it to this famous parable
or here is the shorter poetic version
There is now a better understanding all round. The management actions would nary have caused a ripple at any other forum, however Windrivers is peculiar... you all care and I want to make sure you know that I know, that they know, that we know... well you get the picture.
Pgg... you wanted to start the group hug?
Never, ever approach a computer saying or even thinking "I will just do this quickly."

I lied, the last wasn't my last post, this is.
I don't see it as being "all good" I will not visit the #windrivers channel on IRC. It is too much of a pain to assist folk in two rooms, and I'm not changing the room I visit just because someone got their panties in a bunch over at jupiter.
WinDrivers is still burning, and I ain't peeing on it.

Wouldn't you? I mean really, he knew there would be some flack, but the fallout was immense. I know my feelings would be hurt, hopefully he's got a good look at things, and understands, he's got some very tight shoes to fill...

Tech-To-Tech Mod
so trip gets to mod case mods and hot deals.
Ok I can live with that. that is essentially modding nothing since those areas never got much traffic when this site WAS something. now that it's not I doubt there is going to be hardly any posts in there at all.
I think RRR is pretty well contained all things considered. now we just have to keep him from getting airborne
