    umax astra 1220s

    i have an umax astra 1220S. but i dont have any software for it.. wher can i get the software for scanning and which software will work for this scanner..any site or links for any software that'll work for this scanner..

    the umax astra 1220S software on the above link is "paid" for all windows versions. its not free to download.....

    Is there any site/link wher i can get the software for free for windows 98.?

    I have a PC equipped with an MSI Neo2 Platinum motherboard and I have an adaptec 2930CU PCI ultra scsi card and my scanner is invisible. Anyone have this problem? The scanner and scsi card worked in my last PC and the scsi card still sees my Pioneer 303S dvd rom and another scanner, just not the 1200s. Any ideas? I've tried everything. This is BIOS related and before windows XP Pro boots up.
