Smoothwall router
Hi All
Have installed an old 486 on my network running smoothwall express v 2 patched up to date running as red/green ports from a modem/router.I am recieving the following in the firewall log viewer.
Any thoughts?
In /Proto /Source /Src Port /Destination /Dst Port
eth1/UDP/192.168.1.12/137(NETBIOS-NS)/192.168.1.255/137(NETBIOS-NS)
eth1 /UDP/192.168.1.12/138(NETBIOS-DGM) /192.168.1.255/138(NETBIOS-DGM)

It looks as if your smoothie is picking up, netbios traffic through the broadcast address...im assuming you are using a /24...
It has been awhile since I have messed with a smoothie, so I can't remember if this has a severe impact upon your network...
