Roxio Problem
Have clients PC, they installed Roxio Easy CD & DVD 6.0 on system. When they rebooted, the system would reboot then go into safe mode. Cannot get into normal mode. Of course since in safe mode, cannot uninstall Roxio. Have searched for any known problems but have not found any yet. System is Gateway XP Home > Intel P4 2.2GHZ > 1GB Ram. System is clean of virus and spyware. Was working great until this was installed. Any suggestions?

Try using msconfig to remove any references to roxio from the startup, then try to boot in to normal mode long enough to uninstall

Done that and it still reboots when it hits the splash screen in normal mode. Any other ideas?

try going in to safe mode, right clicking on my computer and choosing properties..choose the advanced tab, and under startup and recovery, uncheck the automatically restart checkbox..hit apply and then ok..see if it stops rebooting and gives you a blue screen error message at that point.

Tahk you geoscomp, I tried you suggestion and rebooted. The pc rebooted back to safe mode with the comment " we are sorry for the inconveience, but windows did not start correctly" end of message. I hope there is something else we can try. I hate the idea of having to wipe this out sincwe therwe is no backups of the data files and I just wiped this about a month ago because they had tons of spyware and virus. Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Try "last known good configuration"?
