Don't know if it counts, but I'm just setting up an 8 camera DVR CCTV system around the house.
I'm in charge and I say we blow it up

I got a Hauppauge WinTV-350 card. I record my shows on my pc now. KEWL huh? I got a problem though, I can't seem to get the compression down right. I must be doing something wrong. I also can't get the signal routed back to my TV from my computer. To add to this, my TV has no s-video or other ports on it besides the coaxial connector, so I have to use a switch box. Complecated huh?

I have it attached to my TV... nothing like playing an xbox game and having a walkthrough one TV/VIDEO button push away...

    I use a Kworld

TV PVR-878 it was 30$ on ebay and works well, however i couldnt get the PVR trial software that came with it to work, so i got an AIW 9200 for my media cube pc which has been excellent, almost as good as my tivo with the free schedule plus software included with the card, Add the remote wonder with it's wireless mouse capabilities and you get a prettty slick setup.... g
