Windows 98 Se Shutdown Problem
Goes to windows 98 is shutting down and stops, any ideeas, I done a fresh install and had a apm conflict, went into bios/ power management and enabled apm and conflict gone but still does not shut down, any ideas

Close all applications, and try doing a search for *.tmp and deleting everything the search comes up with except file folders.
Sometimes you cannot delete some of the the tmp files and you will have to work around them. If there is a tilde "~" in the file name, the tmp file can be a currently active file and if so you won't be allowed to delete it.
