problems with my Gforce 2 MX 4000
Hi guys
I had an 8 MB SiS video card i changed it to Geforce 2 64 MB MX 4000, i also upgraded my ram to 256 mb, but whenever I try to run 3D games, such as NBA Live or FIFA, I mean any 3D game, I get problems with my graphics, some times the scren becomes red or i see lines a cross the scren, I updated my monitor driver but i still get the same problem. I don't what to do
i am runing windows Xp pro server pack 2
on a NEC motherbord
I have 1.8 GHz
and 256 Ram
GeForce 2 MX 4000
i really need help

To be honest, I would suggest drivers or the video card is possibly damaged. Is the card new or second user? You can get the latest drivers at http://www.nvidia.com

Before you get a new card...what about the motherboard chipset drivers?

OK, the card is ok in 2d / desktop mode but as soon as you load up a 3d game it fails?
I would look at direct x possibly.
Btw is there any more information you can tell us?

hi if you update nvidia drivers and still have the same problem ,
the chances are that you have a faulty video card if it is new then you can change it (had same problem before and it was a faulty video card)

but i found out what is the problem, it's my motherbord, i need to change it, because it's too small for my system.

Did u install your driver from MX 4000 disc or you let Windows install it's drivers?Check it!
