Soundblaster PCI CT4810
Hey,
Ive been searching the internet all day trying 100s of different combinations but nothing seems to work.
I have 2 Sb CT4810 cards (which are quite different by the way, 1 of them misses 5 capacitors and the philips TDA1517), and a Compaq Deskpro 2000 M5200. The card wordked fine until i installed 98SE. In device manager it tells me it either isnt installed or the drivers arent installed. Sndvol32 wont start. No sound. Ive tried everyting! Ive downloaded the drivers from creative.com but then when i reboot it asks me for files on the driver CD, which i dont have. They arent copied to my computer either.
Does anyone know where to get these?

Go here if you are in the US: http://us.creative.com/products/wtb/phone/
Start from here if you are not (click on 'Order by Phone' once you select your region): http://www.creative.com/language.asp...upport/contact
Before I moved to Chattanooga, I gave my dad and my brother a SoundBlaster Live Value card and a SoundBlaster Live Platinum and had ordered a driver cd from Creative so they would have it handy. The drivers from the cd installed both cards in both XP and Me without a hitch. That was the first time I ever actually installed ANYTHING in Windows Me without a hitch!
