Excel does not have a safe mode. What problem are you having or what are you trying to do?

Probability factor of one to one...we have normality, I repeat we have normality. Anything you still can't cope with is therefore your own problem.

With a name like mosmaster39, I think you already know there isn't a safemode for Excel. Your post strikes me as just a shameless pitch for the website you posted.

safe mode
acctually there is a safe mode for excel, at least for excel 2003, havent tried it on earlier versions. start / run / excel.exe /safe does the trick.
now from what I red in the posts before mine i understand that this wasnt a "real" question, but I wanted to answer anyway....
I read your e-mail........

I stand corrected. I just tried that and indeed you can run it in safe mode.
My question is why would you need to? Does it allow you to open corrupted spreadsheets?

Interesting.
Basically, that's why the thread was left open, to find an answer.
But again, you would think the individual who asked the question would know these things. But maybe I'm wrong.

That was my take also. I was enlighted to the fact that you could run any Office app in safe mode by holding the Ctrl key and clicking the apps icon...but it still seemed like a pitch for the website.
