Although I quit going into the chat a little while ago, GWN was a great guy that I really enjoyed chatting with. He was always one of the first to welcome you into the room and make you feel at home. He will be missed greatly.
My thoughts, prayers and condolonces are with his family.

Farewell, GWN. You will certainly be missed, but I know you are in a better place now.
I certainly feel for his family.
If only you knew what's inside of me now,
You wouldn't want to know me, somehow.

I am so sad to hear that. In the short time I knew Scott he was always helpful and freindly. His passing is a loss to both his family and the chat community and I for one will miss him.

I just found out about this since I've been out of touch.
I am simply overwhelmed.
I recall fondly the mornings or evenings when I'd pop into chat with my BlackBerry and he'd be one of the regular people I would converse with.
Please give my condolences to his family, and let them know that I am praying for them.
That's just... shocking.

Chat Helper
As I started this thread and now that the word of GWN's passing has had time to spread around the community I thought I would take this opportunity to say a final goodbye to him. I will give this link to his wife so she can read the many kind and heartfelt wishes from you all, I'm sure she will appreciate it and find some comfort in knowing that GWN was such a well liked and respected guy. I will miss his fishing stories, his funny stories and his helpfullness in chat and I will miss the hours and hours of talking about nothing in particular.
So feel free to keep posting your comments but I just wanted to say from us all as a collective, deepest condolences and sincerest wishes to his family and to GWN goodbye, rest in peace friend.

More than we know, he will be missed. Many is the time I logged on and we chatted about anything and everything. I hope Heaven has LOTS of fish...

Yes
I only heard yesterday
As my alter ego Gallovidian I spent much time chatting with GwN.
My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. We have lost a good mate and helper, but you have lost so much more. I hope it comes as some comfort to know how well he was thought of by those who had the privilege of chatting with him on their way.
He'll stay in my thoughts and prayers- he sent me a picture of his trip earlier in the year, so I can see him there in my mind
I hope if there is anything we can do for his family, of whom he spoke lovingly and often, that we will get to know soon.
Much much missed
