    Multihoming

I have 9 servers all with at least 3 network plugs in them. I am trying to set them up so I can use one card for nothing but backup traffic on a totally different IP scheme. My network IP scheme is 172.20.x.x and I want to use 192.168.0.x for my mini backup network. Everything is fine until I enable the NIC on my master browser (which also happens to handle dns, dhcp, and wins). When I turn on that nic all the computers in my domain list disappear. Is there any way I can convince Windows Server 2k to use one network card over another in terms of which to use for master browser list?

As usual thanks in advance. Windrivers is always a great place to get some info.

First I would try disabling Browsing service for that NIC.
Second, Are you connecting it to the same network equipment (Physical Hub Switch) as you normal network?

No, I installed a new dedicated switch for it and connected it to our main network with a fiber link. How do you disable the service for a specific nic?
