Good luck, and remember, "Don't cry because its over, smile because it happened."

Ve con Dios, amigo!
I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.

Goodbye ADEPT,
You have been a faithful colleague around here - I will miss you.
I am slowly becomming the "oldest" member, a relic from another era.

Catch you on the flip side Steph...

Thanks for all the kind words folks.
I thought I'd give this thread a last "look over" and appreciate the salutations.

But that is exactly what it was meant for, attracting attention.
Is there some netiquette that I'm not aware of which frowns upon saying goodbye to friends, acquaintances and colleagues in discussion forums since I most likely will not be speaking to most of them ever again? Why do I feel like you're taking a shot at me here for being polite?
What exactly is the problem with this? I assumed I was doing the right thing, since I'd become almost a fixture here. Instead of lurking pointlessly, I'm just moving on.
For the record, I'm not angry, leaving in a huff to go elsewhere and taking a last stab, or making a statement other than what I've already said. No one is responsible for my leaving WD and other forums. I don't regret my involvement here in the slightest.
I want to use my time in other ways and wished to bid farewell to you all.
Thanks again for the memories folks, and the fun.
I'll be checking this thread later for comments, but most likely will not log in again.

sorry if I was'nt all warm and fuzzy,
it was'nt a personal shot at you,I would have posted that whoever it was.
,,a goodbye thread is not a problem necessarily,
it was just a comment of mine and my opinion,
and I do think it's silly in a way, because eveyone always comes back sooner or later, why say goodbye? just take a break, you'll be back IMO.
either way, take care and have a good one.
