Thought I would never have this problem!
I did it I set an administater password and now I do not recall what it is. Any help besides a reinstall?

Policy here at Windrivers is to not offer help with resetting of passwords, as we have no way of knowing for certain if a request is legitimate or not. That said, yes, a reinstall will do the trick, or take to a reputable shop and pay to have the admin password reset.

A quick search through the forum will find several threads suggesting this tool:

I don't think it's hacking 3fs...he asked genuinely, we have to assume he's not doing this illegally #1, #2 this information isn’t like a trade secrete or treasonous to pass along as you can’t hack Domain passwords, only local machine passwords. Again, it’s been used and approved of on this forum for years, I see no harm nor foul.

No I wasn't hacking!! I understand the idea though. As far as the tool you lead me to, Ya_know, I couldn't quite figure it out. I have a multipartition setup on three physical drives and I found the boot partition however I can not find the registry directory it is seeking. The default is not correct. If you can guide me from there I would appreciate it for future info.
BTW I did finally figure out my password-only took about 500 tries!!

Passkeeper is a simple, encrypted app. for storing you passwords (been around forever). Keep it on a CD-RW disk as well as your harddrive so you have access to it in situations like this one.
