I love my AMD 64! but,
I purchased a AMD 3400 2.4G I hessitantly bought a lanparty ut motherboard. I am absoulutly thrilled with my machine, but when I try to install the free software that comes with it I am told,"your machine is not qualified" I dont know what else I could need?
I have a gig of ddr 400 with a barely touched WD 40 gig hard D. the free software is win DVD Suite,Win DVD,WinDVD creatore,Win rip 2. Ideas?

1 question
I have a A64 3000+ and a lanparty board (UT nf250gb) and windvd works fine for me (winXP pro sp2/non-64). I can't get the stupid farcry game I got with it to work but that's material for another thread I guess.
You did not mention any optical drives so - do you have a dvd-rom or dvdrw drive on your machine and is it recognized as such? I would not be suprised if the software checked for one - not saying it is right, just saying - they also mention it as a requirement in the link below

Is your video card capable of doing dvd encoding? I have seen this on a system with very low grade video. Something to check also.
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.

Usually WinDVD is bundled with asus boards and its specific to an asus board. I have several copies here that wont install on anything but an asus board.
Possibly the cd got mixed up somehow?
And by the wy that has nothing to do with the AMD
