mat****a dvd-ram uj-811?!?!
Hi,
I have drive name:Mat****a.
The driver name is:mat****a dvd-ram uj-811
I have been using Roxio and I moved to Nero and then all the problems start...
The computer act like I don't have a CD/DVD drive!

Did you uninstall the Roxio software before installing Nero? Have you tried updating Nero with the latest version?

Filter Class drivers then would seem to be your problem
'Burning software' adds its own 'driver' (the class filters I just mentioned, which add the writing function for that software) & these get themselves in conflict with others, simplest advice is to remove all burning software, check your aspi layer, remove all drives in safemode & reboot & then re-introduce each bit of software testing as you go..
Note things like 'enhanced ide' drivers & the presence of virtual drive software (such as daemon tools or alcohol 120) can also do this, they want removing for now too .
