Comp USA USB 2.0 PC Card & driver problems
Here's my setup: an old Pent. III 700 mhz laptop running XP with 2 PC slots and one old USB 1 input. I bought a Comp USA USB 2.0 IEEE 1394 PC card to run a Lacie drive and a D-link usb G wireless USB adapter. I also have my M-Audio soundcard plugged into the old usb, and a keyboard running out of the scusi. Everything works, more or less (the lacie sometimes isn't recognised), except the D-link. The device manager sees it as some kind of download thing, but the unit doesn't light up, and I get no signal, even though there is one. Another thing, the new device manager didn't come up when I installed it. I'm sure tha XP doesn't see it.
How do I get this usb thing, plugged into this PC card, to work?
You would be my hero if you could give me some advice.

Gonna hazard a guess here and ask ya to see if the card has a NEC chipset in device manager ?
