    Post "E" with a "~" above it.

Everytime I turn on or off my printer it prints an accented E prints out. It has the lastest driver, and it only prints that when the printer is online when I turn on the computer. Help

You may have a little static "garbage" in your printer cable. Or the LPT port is sending that symbol to the printer on startup, why? I wouldn't know. You can try unplugging the printer cable and that should in my experience clear the static from the cable.
