WD2500JB SATA Hard Drive
Need help.
Using Asus P4P800-E Deluxe Board.
Have tried the following:
Eneabling SATA in bios.
Tried different cables, sata1 and sata 2 connections.
Jumper Settings.
Setting up an array for single disk use.
Copying drivers to floppy, booting into setup loading drivers, but nothing recognizes my drive.
WD Diagnostics recognizes the drive...sees it and everything.
I tried to format the drivein lifetools, which it hadn't seen it in earlier until I played some more and now it does, but formatting didn't really format anything. I need a third party format utility,,,any ideas?
I am about to go crazy because I have been working on this thing all day and ready to quit. I don't know much about SATA so anything anyone has to offer I am sure might help.
Thanks all.
