Folks we had one of the nicest days today. Denali pics>>>

Oh my were to start? Well the day was absolutely beautiful...I really don't have any other way to describe it. We left the house this morning and had breakfast and then off North on the Glenn Highway. We hit the Parks Highway at Wasilla and proceeded to drive 140 miles to the Mount McKinley Scenic View from the Denali Princess Lodge in the Denali State Park (The Denali National Park is further up the road).

Folks all I can say is I had my breath taken away today! I thought nothing would ever compare to the beauty of the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone or Yosemite, but today I stand corrected. Seeing the grandour of the Alaska Range with Mt. Foraker, Mt. Hunter and Mt. McKinley towering over an already massive range and impressive is an understatement.

I'm not going to post any of the pictures because frankly they're huge (some in the 1 meg range). I reduced them by 50%. If anybody wants a full version of them let me know and I hope you enjoy them. Click here for the pictures.
I only post using 100% recycled electrons!!!

Stay on the bomb run, boys. I'm going to get them doors open if it hair lips everybody on Bear Creek.

Folks in a striking bit of stupidity I forgot to write that you click on the pictures to enlarge them! Getting old sux!

Be prepared though because some of the pictures are over a meg in size.
