    I'm a bit curious .. not complaining, but no-one's said hello here, although I've had loads of support on other threads.

    Am I in the wrong place?

    Should I be working to make use of this forum? I thought the forum was for anyone with computer problems/news?

    The folks who do most of the answering, tend to hang about in the 'technical bits', lurking for folks 'in distress' & generally settle for 'welcome to windrivers' on any first post, & its only when we get really really bored , that places like this get looked at

    But welcome aboard m'hearty, its nice to see someone 'old' here, as well as me !

    Thanks TechZ, my computer's attention span is only as long as the home made telephone extension line stays intact, it runs from the back room, up a wall, over a door, down the wall to the modem !!

    Partly the reason I'm getting a laptop soon, if that wire gets cut, I'm up a creek without an extension lead ! But also the laptop will keep me 'connected' while this PC gets reformatted.
