HP Pavilion ze4600 + Lacie Combo Card
Hello everybody,
I've problems with my new PCMCIA Lacie Combo Card (2xUSB2.0 + 2xFirewire) I want to use it on a laptop HP Pavilion ze4614ea. I've Windows XP Pro (without SP1 & SP2)
Troubles:
- I plug the card, no problems, but when I plug a camera (Canon 350d), ipod (40 Gb, 3°G), card reader, external hd (Lacie)
Sometimes: the system crash => blue screen
Sometimes: it's like "connecting/disconnecting" to the device (the led of the external hd/card reader lights on & off, but nothing happens) (after a while the Canon software says 'device camera disconnected')
- With a simple mouse, it works
What I've already done:
- Install last drivers card
- I upgrade the BIOS of the laptop
Helpdesk advices:
- Lacie: it's a pcmcia card 5v, and my laptop supports only pcmcia 3v (how to check this ???)
- HP: The pavilion only works with Belkin pcmcia cards (!!!)
Any help is welcome

I would start by going to SP1 at the very least.
