ATI has released a new ATI Catalyst drivers (release notes / download ~ 25.1MB) bringing them up to version 5.7. The package contains: RADEON display driver 8.152, Multimedia Center 9.08, Catalyst Control Center 5.7 (requires .NET Version 1.1 Framework), HydraVision Basic Edition 3.25.9006, Remote Wonder 3.02, WDM version 8.15 (6317) and Southbridge/IXP Driver. They claim 5-15% performance gains in 3DMark05 on some products, 25-60% gains in Half-Life 2 at 1600x1200 4xAA 8xAF, 40-60% gains in UT2004 at 1600x1200 6xAA 16xAF, 20-60% gain in Far Cry Regulator across multiple settings.
