And I must try the Goose! Never too old to learn something new! Try keeping your favorite vodka in the freezer and take straight shots of it. You'll know its at the right temperature if it pours like Karo corn syrup.

My advice is to try everything at least once. The Liquor store should have a large selection, start with the beers and move up to the wine and then to the hard Liquors.
Obviously this must be done over a long period of time and by the time you have sampled everything your liver will be quite angry with you, but this way you can honestly say "I don't want that, it tastes like crap".

There is a vodka that is filtered 10 times! WOW! I gotta try some o dat! There are many others also.

Sounds great, except for that "hints of fruit, nuts and vanilla flavors" part. Still, sounds like Crater Lake is a must try as well.
