What browser do you normally use?
I'm thinking we'll have more than the average amount of Firefox users here but you never know. Clearly MSIE has the lion's share with 83%, with Firefox climbing slowly at 8%.
What browser are you using?
What makes you continue to use that browser?
These stats are from TheCounter and are the averages of 1000's of sites.

I've exclusively used IE6 because it never has caused me any grief and it suites my needs. Tried Firefox once for a couple of days, didn't like its layout and got rid of it.

same here, IE6 has never given me problems. Use Firefox rarely, but just as an alternative.
As far as Firefox use goes, when you do a search via Firefox, it prefetches the first 5 links for you, therefore it shows up in traffic stats for websites more than is actually true.

I use FF primarily for the tabs and extensions, but still have to use IE on a lot of sites.

I wish I could say that, but too many sites I deal with daily give me the old "This site can only be viewed in IE 5.x or higher" message.

Compatibility is absolutely a must for me, so I use IE. Just don't have the time to mess around with basic browser compatibility issues.
I didn't surrender, but they took my horse and made him surrender. They have him pulling a wagon up in Kansas I bet.

I also use IE, never had a problem and often buy online with my credit card andnot once have I had any fraud on my cards. I tried FF but quite a few websites appeared scrambled and improperly. I also don't like that FF doesn't let you delete individual items from the auto complete on search boxes like IE, in FF it seems like you either can't delete them at all or need to delete them all at once. Also, FF runs very slowly on my PC, some users say it's faster, maybe on slower PCs or slower connections, but on my PC IE is miles faster, and I tested them both loading a page I had never went to before.

IE has a big red bullseye on it for virus's and exploits, so i avoid it whenever possible.
This is not to say that i feel other browsers are more secure, they just don't get targeted as often.
As a result, i use netscape

Anything M$ does ! But you are 'damned right'
'Stuck with' IE over here (though I can't say I've ever found IE to be a problem at all 'really', its usually some other thing actually causing the problem, like being too dumb to restrict what sites you do visit & then wondering why you've got loads of spyware pooh on your system) as 99.9% of other folks use it & I've got to pander to their requirements & be able to duplicate the same issues as them.

I use firefox because of the adblock, removeit and bugmenot extensions. IE will never include anything like this so I wont use it unless I have to because some site creator thinks he needs to lock me into IE because its "safe" or something
